Bug Description

In Ubuntu 14.04, when you click the button next to your user name in order to select a session, the list is not displayed. If you select another user and then select yourself again, then you can click the button and it is displayed.

Are you by any chance trying to switch users from the Unity lockscreen (which does not offer the choice of sessions, since it's run from within a session) rather than the login screen of the greeter?

@bregma: nope - I just hit this on a fresh trusty install - though I assumed it was a "oh no, they broke xsession support again" until I noticed in the logs that it was scanning all of the session types... you just get nothing when you click on the white circle, unless you pick a different user than then come back.
