Bug Description

The login screen (LightDM) looks great for darker wallpapers, but when I use a lighter wallpaper, two things happen:

1) The white text (for the Ubuntu logo and the other users' names) becomes difficult to read.
2) The computer name on the top left turns gray.

The vast majority of the login screen thus becomes quite hard to read when using a light wallpaper.
