Bug Description
Unity's login greeter does not tell you more about which desktop enviroment it will start than showing its icon next to the user name. That is unsatisfactory, since some environments share the same icon ("Ubuntu" and "Ubuntu 2D", to just mention one example).

Thank you for your bug report, the 2 unity versions will be merge this cycle, do you have other cases where that's an issue? it's rather a request to improve icons for some desktops
