Bug Description
There is no option to set the resolution to higher than 1024*768. My screen runs at 1920*1080 and I'm using a VGA cable. To get the required resolution I have to run some xrandr commands when logging in. My graphics is Intel HD 2500 and I believe it is updated (I changed a file to make the intel graphics installer for linux think I was running ubuntu 15 to try to update). Note that I have had this problem before and after "updating" my graphics drivers. I am currently running ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
