Bug Description

Ubuntu 15.04, Linux 3.19.0-22-generic, Unity.

I used System unity-control-center --> Details to change my computer's hostname. This resulted in a state where

/etc/hostname

was updated, but the relevant entry in /etc/hosts i.e.

127.0.1.1 <old-hostname>

was not.

Restarting the machine does not update the line in /etc/hosts.

I believe this is a bug, it cannot be the intended outcome of unity-control-center, because it results in a broken state where the computer's own hostname is not a know host for itself, in turn resulting in many issues with internet applications.
