Bug Description

If I have the Unity2D launcher set to Auto-Hide. A couple of times a day, it gets stuck in the show position, where all program windows maximize to the full screen and even go behind the launcher. The only way I can get this to unstick, is to set the Auto-Hide of the launcher to off, then back to on again. Or, I can log off and on again.

I'm assuming this is a bug?

Pressing Super button helps, but not always.

Restarting unity does not solve the issue either (Alt+F2 -> unity -> <Enter>).

Restarting lightdm does not help as well ($ sudo systemctl restart lightdm.service).

Changed in unity-2d (Ubuntu):
