In multi-monitor mode, some files aren't visible on the desktop

Bug Description

Maybe this affects unity also, but I can't get multi-monitors working in normal unity.
My problem is that it's unclear how files are on the desktops. Some are visible on one desktop (monitor), sometimes some are on the other, but everything is random.

Hey, can you right-click on the desktop and go "Asztal rendezése név szerint"?

My guess is that the other icons got lost offscreen.

They do get lost offscreen, even if I arrange icons by name.
If I create some files with "right click -> Create new document ->
[anything]", they are visible _unitl_ I arrange icons by name again.
If I set the same resolution for both displays or "mirror" them,
everything's fine. But if I change the external monitor's resolution to a
greater value: 1.) all icons go to the laptop's monitor, even if they had
been created on the external display; 2.) the icons go "upwards". It looks
as if the icons thought that the laptop also had 1280x1024 resolution,
though it has 1024x768 max.
And there are more problems like these, I can write down all of them/maybe
record it and upload the video or animgif somewhere, maybe the video is
more easy to understand than my hungover english:)

Definitely affects Unity.

I can't see any of the icons on my desktop. They always show up at (0, 0), which is outside both of my monitors. Here's my configuration (from xrandr):

LVDS1 connected 1366x768+0+1213 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 293mm x 164mm
DP1 connected 2560x1600+1366+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 641mm
