Bug Description
When the compositing manager in metacity is enabled, the Dash and Launcher are flickering. The Dash, when opened, is flickering ("blinking") constantly - and the Launcher is flickering during any animation. This makes unity-2d hard-to-use on fglrx.
This might have been around for a longer time, since I remember it being here around 1-2 months ago.

in your .xsession-errors output. Can you give us the output with OpenGL disabled please?
