Bug Description
I'm performing iso-testing on the Beta 1 candidates, specifically 'Ubuntu 12.04 LTS _Precise Pangolin_ - Beta i386 (20120228.1)', and when testing on my old VIA C7 w/ P4M800 which forces unity-2d I notice that the launcher still auto-hides. This occurs both from the live DE and a freshly installed DE.
However when I go to sys settings > appearance > behavior I see that auto-hide is set to off. But if I switch auto-hide to on, then switch it back to off the behavior is as expected, and on an installed DE that behavior is then retained.
I don't see this testing on 3d capable hardware with the standard unity DE.
I'd think this is very low priority, not worth a rebuild for Beta 1, but that's not my decision.
Must say I love the most recent changes ................... simply beautiful.
