Software Center doesn’t notify of its startup when installing new applications from the dash

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
- open the applications place entry
- search for "software"
- click on the icon for Software Center
- notice that the icon for S-C in the launcher starts glowing to notify that it is launching
- exit S-C
- open the applications place entry again
- slide all the way down to the group of "available" applications (not installed)
- click on any of them to start installing it in S-C
Expected result: the icon for S-C in the launcher starts glowing to notify that it is launching
Current result: S-C is launching but its icon doesn’t glow
