root password is typed to Dash as wrong place (focus issue)

Start Synaptic from Dash is asking the root password (it's natural behaviour) but the input box of Synaptic does not grab the focus it stays on Dash further. This way the root pasword is got typed into Dash. After re-opening Dash the root password is well visible.

I've seen this at times myself. Depending on what lenses and scopes are installed, the password may be broadcast over the internet as well.
