Bug Description
I'm trying, but failing to install Debian GNU/kFreeBSD using unetbootin 2.81 for Windows.
Using the following ISO image: http://
Using a USB key:
The grub menu contains two entries, one named "Default", which gives the following error when booting it:
Loading /ubnkern.
Invalid or corrupt kernel image.
boot:
One named "Untitled Entry Grub 0":
Loading /boot/vmlboot
Invalid or corrupt kernel image.
boot:
Installing using a harddisk:
(hd0,1)
Filesystem type is ntfs, partition type 0x7
[FreeBSD-elf, <0x400000:
initrd /unetbtin/ubninit
Error 19: Linux kernel must be loaded before initrd
Press any key to continue...
The Debian GNU/kFreeBSD install disc is according to documentation rather like the official FreeBSD install discs.
Similar problem here using FreeBSD 7.1-BETA2- i386-bootonly. iso.
Booting from USB stick yields "Invalid or corrupt kernel image."
