Bug Description

Dear all,

I would like to suggest to add this great package and its terminal notifications to the default installation of Ubuntu 17.10 GNOME.

Especially from a new user perspective, terminal notifications for completed commands are very useful and enhance the user experience.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Robert

Having the package installed by default is not sufficient for notifications to be displayed when a long-running command completes.

/etc/profile.d/undistract-me.sh needs to be sourced at login time (see https://github.com/jml/undistract-me#user-content-add-to-your-bash).
