Bug Description

TEST CASE:
1. install lucid
2. run sudo apt-get update
3. run sudo ifconfig eth0 down (or wlan0 down if on wlan)
4. run sudo unattended-upgrades
5. verify that it fails and errors with "AttributeError: 'apt_pkg.AcquireItem' object has no attribute 'DescURI'
"
6. install unattended-upgrades from lucid-proposed (reenable network first ;)
7. repreat step 4 and verify that it gives a proper error message now

Binary package hint: unattended-upgrades

I didn't do anything myself really. It automatically went off to fetch updates, I guess.

Accepted unattended-upgrades into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

SRU verification for Lucid:
I have reproduced the problem with unattended-upgrades 0.55ubuntu4 in lucid-updates and have verified that the version of unattended-upgrades 0.55ubuntu5 in -proposed fixes the issue.

Marking as verification-done

This bug was fixed in the package unattended-upgrades - 0.55ubuntu5

---------------
unattended-upgrades (0.55ubuntu5) lucid-proposed; urgency=low

  * unattended-upgrade:
    - backport fix for a crash when a package has no conffiles
      anymore (LP: #563912)
