Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt

Sorry, I used to correct everyone's bad spelling mistakes for a living.

Automatically is spelled wrong in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades.
"
// Automaticall upgrade packages from these (origin, archive) pairs
Unattended-Upgrade::Allowed-Origins {
        "Ubuntu hardy-security";
// "Ubuntu hardy-updates";
};
"

Sorry to be a nag. But getting the Spelling and Grammar correct is good practice; even though it may be in a comment. ;-)

Iain

PS
Mark this as low... very low...

You can fix this 5 minutes before the Final CD press of Hardy.

This is actually a bug in the unattended-upgrades package which creates the file '/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unatteded-upgrades'. I discovered this via:

dpkg -S /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades

This same typo is repeated in

That file also references gutsy, at least on my Hardy system. It should probably be updated to refer to the current release, or some measure taken to make this not problematic in the future.
