Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev

I ran natty alpha-2 tests today and found udev errors on the majority of the collected consoles.

  * Of 226 shutdown (ebs only) or terminate console logs
     * 159 had 'did not accept message'
     * 110 had "open /dev/null failed"
     * 7 had "error binding control socket" and "dev main process ended" all of these were i386 and showed LP: #712026
   * example:
     udevd[61]: worker [171] did not accept message -1 (Connection refused), kill it
     udevd-work[182]: open /dev/null failed: No such file or directory
     udevd[210]: error binding control socket, seems udevd is already running
     udev main process ended, respawning

The messages are really only an annoyance, but they could be indication of a bug.
