Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev

Most of my notebook's Fn- and media-keys aren't recognized (some still work though). I created a new keymap file (attached) containing all those keys (according to atkbd.c messages in dmesg) and added:

ENV{DMI_VENDOR}=="Zepto", ATTR{[dmi/id]product_version}=="6214W", RUN+="keymap $name zepto-6214w"

to /lib/udev/rules.d/95-keymap.rules. That fixed the problem.

/sys/class/dmi/id/sys_vendor: Zepto

/sys/class/dmi/id/product_name: Znote

/sys/class/dmi/id/product_version: 6214W

This might also work for the product versions 6224W (same notebook but white), 6314W (successor), and 6324W (again the white version) as they all are based on the same Inventec barebone.

udev 145-1
