Bug Description
Binary package hint: hotkey-setup
I have the following system:
sudo dmidecode -s system-manufacturer
sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name
sudo dmidecode -s system-version
COMPAL
HEL80I
-
running hardy alpha 5 with latest updates.
Most of the hotkeys already work but (to get started with) not the wifi hotkey:
when pressing Fn+F2(the wifi hotkey) dmesg reports:
[ 569.710934] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x84 on isa0060/serio0).
[ 569.710943] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e004 <keycode>' to make it known.
The WiFi kill switch DOES work but still dmesg reports
[ 510.591223] atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0xf1 on isa0060/serio0).
[ 510.591230] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e071 <keycode>' to make it known.
[ 510.599884] atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xf1 on isa0060/serio0).
[ 510.599891] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e071 <keycode>' to make it known.
thx for taking the time!

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
