Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev-extras

The fn+f1 (sleep key) does not work on my Lenovo IdeaPad S12.

Running "/lib/udev/keymap -i input/event4" and pressing fn+f1 does not show me any scan code, but other fn keys (like fn+f7 [play/pause]) show a scancode. Curiously, the backlight intensity keys (fn+up and fn+down) do not showup neither, but acutally change backlight intensity (without showing the notification slider as it would show in jaunty before upgrade to koala).

Following the /usr/share/doc/udev/README.keymap.txt "Fixing broken hotkeys" procedure:

$ cat /sys/class/dmi/id/sys_vendor
LENOVO

$ cat /sys/class/dmi/id/product_name
20021,2959

$ sudo /lib/udev/keymap -i input/event4
Press ESC to finish
scan code: 0x01 key code: esc
[[[ Nothing shows up when pressing fn+f1 ]]]

[See dumps.txt attached file for /tmp/orig-map.txt and /tmp/udev-db.txt]

Cheers,
Damien
