Bug Description

Hi,

Since i upgraded my phone with OTA-7, my Ubuntu account is deleted systematically when i'm trying to install a new application (like Dekko).

Phone : Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition
OS : Ubuntu 15.04 (r6)
Last update date : 2015-10-19

Steps to reproduce the bug :

1. Add an Ubuntu One account in Accounts
2. Open Ubuntu Store
3. Choose an application to install
4. Click on install button
5. The store demand an Ubuntu One account
6. Check your accounts, your Ubuntu One account has been deleted

We never delete accounts; the most likely candidate is ubuntuone-credentials.

affects: ubuntu-system-settings-online-accounts (Ubuntu) → ubuntuone-credentials (Ubuntu)

Can you provide any additional details, we cannot reproduce this.
Did you verify the account was added before going to the store?

Here some additional details :

1. My account was already here before the OTA-7 upgrade
2. My account was here too after the OTA-7 upgrade
3. When i'm trying to install a new app, i've got a error message from the store : "Authentication failed, please connect to your Ubuntu One account"
4. When the error is displayed on the store, my account is deleted in my Accounts.
5. When i try to add my account from the store, i'm redirected to the step 3 ...

To be sure, i've done this :
1. I had deleted the token for my Ubuntu phone in my Ubuntu One account
2. I added my Ubuntu One account directly in my Accounts on the phone
3. I checked that a new token was generated in my Ubuntu One account (this part is OK)
4. I tried to install a new app
5. Same things, same error ...

I tried to install 2 apps : Dekko and uDropCabin.

Not seeing the described behavior, maybe the account is special?

1. Fresh flash of --revision=-1 stable.
2. Establish account credentials, install an app in the store, reboot.
3. Initiate update to current in ubuntu-system-settings.
4. Install an app in the store.

All appears well, need more detail.

There was a similar bug about a year ago, where u1-credentials was reacting to an account error condition by removing the account in question.

Reopening since I just lost my account without apparent reason. I would expect if there was an expired token or other issue it would prompt to re-enable the account and not delete it.

I came into the office, checked for updates, hit the bug where it spins forever (meaning the 3G network was there but bit accessible), turned on wifi, checked again and it showed me two app updates with the message to sign in to ubuntu one
