Bug Description

On this freshly installed system the first thing I attempted to do was setup Ubuntu One. After installing the client I waited for the folder list to appear so I could select folders to sync. Every few minutes the status pane would say that File Sync was disconnected. A few moments after that it would attempt to reconnect again. After a while I got tired of waiting and rebooted the system. Soon after that the folder list got synced and I everything seemed to be working normally. Hopefully the correct logs are attached here to diagnose this. Please get in touch if you need me to reproduce the problem.

Hello Brendan!

Could you please confirm if your network connection is stable? Ubuntu One syncdaemon will detect network connection changes, and perhaps that may be causing the disconnections.

The syncdaemon can also be disconnected from the server, and that's usually caused by server side issues. To debug further we'd need you to provide some logs. To do so, please:

1. stop the syncdaemon client by running in a terminal:

u1sdtool -q

and be sure it's fully stopped ("ps -eaf | grep ubuntuone-client" should give you nothing).

2. put a file named syncdaemon.conf in your $HOME/.config/ubuntuone
directory with the following information (if the file is already there, just open it and add):

[logging]
level = DEBUG
backup_count = 10

3. restart the client, by running in a terminal:

u1sdtool -c

4. reproduce the problem.

5. attach here the logs, just zip you $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder
and attach the zip here.

Thanks!
Regards, Natalia.
