Bug Description
As per this* post on Canonical Blog, Ubuntu One and Ubuntu One Music have now been discontinued. However, 13.10 (and also 14.04 Beta) continue to come with these services pre-installed.
This is bound to create confusion in the minds of users who're unaware of the service shutdown when they try to create an account during or immediately after a fresh installation of Trusty.
It is hereby requested that all packages related to Ubuntu One be removed from 13.10 & 14.04 at the earliest possible. If possible, alternative services** be offered with which seamless integration is offered out of the box.

** My favourite would be Google Drive/Accounts as it allows to integrate Contacts, Email, Maps, Browser Bookmarks, etc apart from files.
Tip: The 'Software Centre' too should have the provision to sign up using Google/
