Hi, I'm using 12.04, it's an upgrade and not a fresh install
The version of Ubuntu One according to Software Center is ubuntuone-installer 3.0.0-0ubuntu1
I had expected Ubuntu One to work properly, instead it crashes every time launched and the details
say it's an IPCError if that helps.
I had asked about this on Ask Ubuntu and was told to report it as a bug. Launchpad didn't seem to
find a similar one, so if there's anything else I can do or contribute, let me know.

Ubuntu One is disabled using the previous Ubuntu One control panel and cannot be enabled (this is filed as LP #927572)
WORKAROUND:
Open ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.log and change files_sync_enabled = False to files_sync_enabled = True or remove the config file completely if you haven't changed any of the default settings (you will be able to configure these using the control panel) |
