Bug Description

STR:

1. Open ubuntuone-control-panel-gtk
2. Go to Services tab
3. Untick File sync - syncdaemon shuts down
4. Close Ubuntu One control panel

5. Open control panel again
6. Try to enable file sync

Actual results:
SD does not start therefore it is not providing the dbus method to enable itself. Control panel status shows File Sync error. (org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: )

Expected results:
SD is found to be disabled and data is not being fetched from it, when SD is enabled again, the config is modified directly and sd is started via dbus call.

WORKAROUND:
Open ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and change
files_sync_enabled = False
to
files_sync_enabled = True

Hi,
I can confirm this bug in Ubuntu 11.10.
Ubuntu One panel shows: File Sync error. (org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.)
