U1 daemon never syncs - folder with grey exclamation mark

Ubuntu One folder nvere syncs, always displays an "Unknown" for the progress. The UbuntuOne folder has a grey exclamation point on it.

Did a downgrade from the PPA Nightlies (which I found out are broken)
