Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I need to sync a folder on a NTFS partition. I have read/write access to the partition:

drwxrwx--- 1 root plugdev 4096 2011-02-18 12:46 archivio/

I open nautilus, right click -> Ubuntu One -> Synchronize this folder, and nothing happens.
On the other side, everything's ok for folders in the home (EXT4) partition.

Another experiment: instead of accessing the partition via /home/username/link-to-the-partition/path I have tried to access it via /media/mount-for-the-partition/path. In this second case, I don't either see the "Synchronize this folder" item in nautilus' menu.

Officially Ubuntu One does not support symlinks. That being said, I am syncing a partition like this using a bind mounted directory.

Here's my configuration if it helps:

I have the partition mounted: /dev/sda2 on /mnt/MusicPartition
I have a bind mount /mnt/MusicPartition/Music to ~/SyncMusic/Music

You are right: that way it works.
I cannot understand why it does not work using /media/mount-for-the-partition/path.
