Bug Description
When ubuntuone-
- The syncdaemon process uses 100% of CPU all the time, causing my laptop to overheat after a while and thus crashes the system. It also renders the system hardly usable since the CPU is used by the syncdaemon and does not have enough resources for the apps I need (like unity...)
- Nautilus can not be started. Sometimes it does start after (literally) hours but it's frozen and all I can do is force quit it. Starting Nautilus from command line does not work either
- Banshee can not see external (USB) drives with music on them like my android phone.
When completely uninstalling ubuntu one (there seems to be no way to stop the syncdaemon), the system works perfect again.
Is there any alternative to uninstall ubuntuone? I would love to use it, but not at the cost of rendering my system unsuable.
These problems only started to occur after the upgrade to 11.04, and on previous versions ubuntu one worked flawlessly.

Sorry to hear that Ubuntu One is not working as expected. Thank you for filing a bug on the issue. We would need the client log to start analyzing the problem. Could you please zip your $HOME/. cache/ubuntuone /log/ folder and attach the zip here. You can zip the folder by right-clicking on it and selecting compress. Attach the logs to this bug report using the 'Add Attachment or Patch' button at the bottom of the page.
After you attach the logs you can change the 'Status' of your bug back to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down box.
thank you,
lucio.
