This is probably a dbus issue dont know how to debug. At the moment my computer thinks its 2005 as well so that may be an issue

Hi,
Are other applications working fine? What does running dbus-monitor --session print?
It definitely looks like a D-Bus issue after upgrade or some other condition, but is that reproducible?
What does "ps auxwww | grep dbus" print?
