Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I have two computers on my Ubuntu One, laptop and a desktop.
The laptop works fine but the desktop has been crashing.

I am not really sure what I did but even reinstalling Ubuntu didn't save it as I eventually got into the same situation. Here is what I think happened but I am not 100% sure if this what caused it.

The files that I wanted to sync are on my laptop and are stored in
Documents-My Papers -Hod folder. I have Documents-My Paper on my desktop and Ubuntu one, instead of storing the files in an already existing folder, created another My Papers folder in Documents and stored them there. I didn't like this, as no one likes to have a folder with exactly the same name next to each other (how is this even possible?) so I deleted the one added by Ubuntu hoping I could somehow tell Ubuntu to store the files in the correct folder. Next time I log in nautilus crashes every time I open Ubuntu one. As soon as I uncheck ``files" in Ubuntu one everything works fine, but checking it again forces nautilus to crash.

It would be great if you could help me figure out what happened as I would really like to use Ubuntu one and don't want to switch to dropbox or something else. Please let me know what you would need from me.

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 and the latest Ubuntu One.

Best,
Grigor
