Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
ubuntu 10.10
ubuntuone-client (stable version distributed from repo)
desktop couch (version 1.01)
expected: login to ubuntu one client and have it exchange my personal info and computer name with the cloud server.
I updated desktop couch to 1.01 because the stable version would not start and updating fixed the problem. ubuntuone-client is the distro version. After getting desktop couch to work, I did a complete removal and reinstall of ubuntuone-client following these instructions: https:/
THe login interface came up when I ran the client and I logged in fine and was returned to the regular client interface. THere it said "synchronizing" and eventually claimed to be synchronized. However, the name, email, and current plan fields under the Account tab are all empty, and under Devices, instead of giving the computer name, it just lists <LOCAL MACHINE>. At this point, all services are unchecked.
