Bug Description

If a sync conflicts a ".u1conflict" file is created. This is the newer version of the document. If I'm not aware of the conflict (what I'm not unless I manually check each file I open) then I edit an old version. Why there is no alert?

Example: If I open a OO Document from OO-Menu:File/Recently opened Documents I will not see the conflict file. Depending on what I'm editing, I'm not aware that I'm woring on an old version. When I'm sometime in the future see the conflict I have to review the whole document, If it's a large document this is a lot of work.

So an alert would be important to tell when a conflict file is created!

Why this is set to "wishlist". What I try to tell you is that automatically creating "conflict"-files without warning can produce dataloss on open files. Thes files gets overwritten with an old version if the user isn't aware of the conflict! And I think this is realy bad! I work with openoffice an tiddlywiki. And the u1-client has overwriten both of this files. The only solution is, that I check for conflict files before each save, and that's not realy a solution. So I had to stop using u1. Additionally there are programs that do autosave, so there's no controll at all.
