Bug Description
At the Moment im using Ubuntu One from an dial-up internet connection. For this reason it's hard for UbuntuOne to sync my data on a regular basis.
Currently it's hard to keep track, if Ubuntu One has synced your data to all of your computers. IMHO this is bad and should be solved.
My Idea:
Each Data-Sync (Bookmarks, Contacts, Gwibber-Messages, Files and Music) should save a Timestamp of the last sucsessful cloud-sync. The User could open the "Ubuntu One" Application. In the "Services Tab", where we present the last sucsessful Sync of every service.
More Ideas:
* A small icon could indicate if the last sync was successful, or not. A mouseclick on this icon opens the Logfile.
* Add a small Button to each service where the user could force syncing, or add an button to force the Sync of all personal data now.
* Present a status window if the user forced an manual sync.
* store the last successful sync and service enabled/disabled information on the server and present this stats on the one.ubuntu.com Webinterface.

Christian, improvements. At the last UDS there was a session on improving the user experience of the Ubuntu One control panel. Additionally their are plans to increase the amount of U1 information available in Nautilus. Maverick should see a great improvement in this area. I will assign this bug to the UI folks so they can consider your input.
This is one of the more frequently asked for features/
In the meantime there are a few ways to get more information. The command line (Terminal) can help, with these commands:
u1sdtool --waiting-metadata | wc -l
u1sdtool --waiting-content | wc -l
u1sdtool --current-transfers
These will give you the number of items waiting to sync. If you take of the '| wc -l' you will get details about each item. There is a new tool available for developers and advanced users. It is called Maigicicada. It is a GUI for the syncdaemon. To install:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chicharrero s/ppa; sudo apt-get install magicicada
