OS: Karmic Netbook Remix
HW: Asus EEE 900
Ubuntu One: 1.0.3-0ubuntu1

Wanted Ubuntu One on this system.
Started via "Menu" --> "Internet" --> "Ubuntu One"
Tried reinstalling all the modules, but still am faced with same weird situation...
IV:
1) Ubuntu One icon does appear in dock when selected...
2) has however a cross in a red field indicating disconnected state...
3) left-mouse-click on it followed by 'Connect' do not lead to result...
4) access via web does work... (and I see the files the other system has put there)
5) putting a file there (via the web) does work as well... (the file does appear in the corresponding folder at the other computer)
6) use of u1sync doesn't help...
7) instruction "u1sdtool -q; killall ubuntuone-login; u1sdtool -c" works partly...
Output:
ubuntuone-
ubuntuone-login: no process found
Usage: u1sdtool [option]
u1sdtool: error: no such option: -r
The instruction comes from http://
8) have no other way/button of getting this computer on Ubuntu One...
Please indicate if you need additional information (and which).

The workaround 'u1sdtool -q; killall ubuntuone-login; u1sdtool -c' was for people upgrading to Lucid that were experiencing a bug. You should not have to do that. Also the Preferences panel located in the 'Me Menu' is on the newer version in Lucid or the Beta/PPA.
Lets try and get your computer added. Can you try the following and let us know the results.
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client >Accessories- >Passwords and Encryption Keys /one.ubuntu. com/account/ machines/ >Internet- >Ubuntu One
2. Open Applications-
3. Click on the arrow next to "Passwords"
4. Right-click on the Ubuntu One token and select "Delete"
5. Go to https:/
6. Click on the checkbox next to your computer
7. Click the "Remove selected computers" button
8. Open Applications-
9. a web page should open, prompting you to add your computer to your Ubuntu One account
10. Add your computer
You should be connected after you follow these steps. If you are not connected, can you please attach the following files to this bug report?
~/.cache/ ubuntuone/ log/oauth- login.log ubuntuone/ log/syncdaemon- exceptions. log
~/.cache/
