i have had to add my computer to u1 website 4 or 5 times and it still will not stay connected

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Sorry you are having problems with Ubuntu One. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 488413, so it is being marked as such. The fix for this bug has been released. The easiiest way to get that is described here.

in order to clarify this report. Does you client get stuck in an endless loop that you cant get out of, resulting in you having to reauthenticate ever couple of seconds? Or is the problem that when you launch Ubuntu One you have to re add your computer, occasionally?

Regardless both fixes provided by myself and Mitch will solve your problem.
