Hi, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Can you try the following and let me know if it fixes the problem for you?

1. Right-click on the Ubuntu One client and select preferences
2. Check off the "Limit Bandwidth Usage" checkbox
3. Quit the Ubuntu One client
4. Run the following command from a terminal session (Applications->Accessories->Terminal): rm ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
5. Start the Ubuntu One client
