Hi Thomas,

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. In order to help better determine what the problem might be, can you answer the following questions:

1) Are you using NetworkManager?
2) Are you behind a proxy server?
3) Can you report back what the following steps report?
    Quit the Ubuntu One client
    Applications->Accessories->Terminal, then run:
    ubuntuone-client-applet

Thank you,

Joshua

Hello!

Im not behind a proxy server, and im using the standard wifi set up that
came with ubuntu, I dont know if thats network manager or not

the output from that terminal is:

(nautilus:10517): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion
`preferences_is_initialized ()' fai

I hope this helps!

If you run, from the commandline:

 xdg-open http://one.ubuntu.com

Do you get a web page, or an error message?
