Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
I found several reports about the Ubuntu One client, but none with this specific error. The client crashes on startup with the error message:
Authorization Error
[Errno socket error] [Errno 0] _sql.c:
>Please include, if possible:
>1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 9.10
>2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic.
1.0.2-0ubuntu2
>3) What you expected to happen
>4) What happened instead
I've already subscribed to Ubuntu One with my desktop computer. I'm trying to log in from my laptop, and so I'm expecting a webpage that lets me add the laptop to the list of computers. What happened instead: the above error message appeared (with only a "Close" button); the cloud icon appears in my tray; clicking on the cloud icon tells me that my files are up to date (but they're not; I've made changes to the Ubuntu One folder on the desktop.)

Hi Heath,
I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. Based on the error message you provided, it seems that you may be behind some sort of proxy server, is this correct? If so, Ubuntu One will not currently work behind a proxy server.
Thank you,
Joshua
