Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Every once in a while, Ubuntu One will not connect automatically. When I try to connect, it takes me to the page where I log in with my Launchpad account. After this it takes me to the page to add an authorized computer to the account, except I've already got this computer registered on Ubuntu One. If I delete the old entry for this computer and re-register it, the problem goes away for a little bit, but always seems to come back. I've noticed that the long number associated with my computer is different each time.

syncdaemon-exceptions log indicates that the auth token is not being found. This looks to be the same bug as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntuone-client/+bug/437165. There is a work-around in that bug report that may work. We're investigating a solution to this problem now and I'll elevate the bug severity on the parent report.
