Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

1 - Opened ubuntuOne (invoked client from applications > internet menu)
2 - Confirmed my machine on the web site
3 - Started to think about what files to drop into the Nautilus folder
4 - Client reported a fatal error and bug tracker started!

There was a rare moment of instability with the wireless connection just before the bug was reported. Now that the client has given up the ghost the wireless connection is stable... spooky

Restarting the client from the applications > internet menu repeats the fatal error message

Other note - First time I tried to register my laptop on my account the site failed to respond. This is a couple of days later following (but long after) a restart.

I think I just experienced the same error. My wifi connection died just before Ubuntu One reported a fatal error. I tried to start Ubuntu One again after re-establishing wifi connectivity, only to have it report the same error (but not kill wifi again).

My wifi connection has been very unstable for the last couple of days; I think somebody else may be using the same frequency as me, and this interference is probably what affected U1. For that reason, I am not yet going to mark this bug as confirmed.
