with the information i provided i could see it as a duplicate, but my problem has nothing to do with sleep or hibernate. I even tried closing the client, then opening it back up but nothing new happened. But now, the client appears to be working. I had seen it work when i logged into my ubuntu one online from another computer so i could put some files up there and suddenly noticed that the files from my computer were up there. the only explanation i could think of was that the updates i installed previously had fixed it. i hadn't updated for a while b/c there was a problem with an update that i was too lazy to fix and didn't bother installing the rest of the updates.

I don't know how to read these logs but if you're looking at the line that says:
"BadTransition: State READY_WITH_NETWORK_WITH_BOTHQ can't handle the SYS_CONNECTION_MADE event"
then i have no idea where that came from but my computer did not enter hibernation ever.

Also, if this helps, about the same time i had ubuntu one installed i noticed that some guy was trying to hack my sql database with brute force. thats the only anomaly in my computer's operation for the past distro upgrade.

I thought something was supposed to happen. Can I delete this? It certainly does not belong with bug 457147.

Deo,

You can delete my report; I didn't find an exact duplicate when I
submitted it, but it appears from the email correspondence I've seen that
others have had similar experiences.
