Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Release version Ubuntu Karmic 9.10

Ubuntu One crashes on opening, I expected the program to well... open. Instead I get an error message and it does nothing. I don't--to my knowledge--have an Ubuntu One account, but it sounds like fun.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. From looking at the traceback and the login.log.txt, it seems that the Ubuntu One server was temporarily unavailable. Can you confirm that the issue no longer occurs?

Of course the client should be able to deal with server errors more gracefully. I will file a separate bug for that.

On second thought, from looking at the number of duplicates, this seems to happen a lot, so let's keep this bug for solving the issue that the client can not recover/deal with server failure.

The program appears to be working correctly now. So as far as I know, the error has been fixed.
