Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Updated to 9.10 on hP pavilion zv6000 laptop, seems that 4 out of every 5 times I boot I get a white screen, power off then on and eventually it boots normally does not seem to matter if it's Gnome, fail-safe Gnome or KDE. The first dozen or so times I booted network manager was not running. it took many (20 ?) reboots before it just appeared

I did notice that the driver was loaded (under hardware drivers the Broadcom driver was loaded and active) and the lights on my network card were on but the network manager was not running. This last reboot the network manager was running and the crash report icon was on the taskbar

I submitted this report then immediately saw this one
