Apparently this happens when the "~/Ubuntu One" folder doesn't exist.

Easy workaround, but it still shouldn't just crash.

Don't know what this has to do with #405688 but please try to avoid just putting other bug numbers in the bug description. If it's a duplicate, it will get marked as such. :)

Guillo, another metadata migration issue for you to poke at. I guess if you have metadata and remove the Ubuntu One folder, then try to update to a new version, you'll get this?
