Bug Description

At some point yesterday or today, a file I've been editing regularly in GEdit disappeared from my Ubuntu One folder. I haven't been editing it with anything else. There have been a few network outages, but not many. I may have made changes to other synchronized files, but if so, it was nothing particularly intense.

The GEdit backup file is still there on my local disk, dated 2012-06-24T09:03 UTC, but neither the original nor the backup shows up on one.ubuntu.com.

There was a report of a similar issue with GEdit, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+bug/1012620 for which a fix was released in ubuntuone-client 3.0.2 which was SRU'd a few days ago.

If you could try that release and this still happens, please reopen, in the meantime I am marking as duplicate.

3.0.2 has not been SRUed yet. But this probably should remain a dup.
