Bug Description

Binary package hint: human-gtk-theme

Progress bars do not render properly on Intel 810 and Intel 815 onboard video cards in Ubuntu Edgy, the bar that shows the progress itself is missing, you can still read the percentage of how far the progress is, but not the progress bar itself, which is entirely missing. Definitely a bug with the Human theme as this does not happen with other themes.

I have experienced this on an Intel i810 and Intel i815 board with onboard video.

This does not happen when configuring X.Org for 16 bit high colour, the bug only occurs in 24 true colour which is the Ubuntu installation default for this video card, however I was thinking, maybe Intel 81x video cards should default to 16 bit high colour after Ubuntu installation as these cards lack 3D capability in 24 bit true colour anyway.

I havent this bug with i810 and 24bit colour mode on an Edgy Eft. I tried it with and without Beryl. If you would like more info ask me.

For me this happened on both an onboard i810 and i815, without installing anything else, it happens on the live cd of Edgy, so it's not beryl related.
