Add hexchat by default on all ubuntu flavours

Please consider adding hexchat (or another irc client) by default on ubuntu flavours so users needing help
can connect to the relevant irc support channel of their favorite flavour easy when they encounter problems.
Auto joining the right support channel could also be an option.

This could avoid the creating of (too quick) bugs, lighter the work for developers.

The ubuntu community could also benefit this, making their irc channels more active again.

Ubuntu had Xchat by default till ubuntu 5.10

I'll add Lubuntu has provided `quassel` (distributed IRC client - monolithic core+client) since 18.10, or on all LXQt releases.

It's also setup to auto-join #lubuntu (it won't join #ubuntu due +r; or until user identifies)

Ubuntu Studio seeds quassel, but also has a special menu entry for not only links to the Matrix channels for Ubuntu Studio which are bridged to the IRC channels, but also a link to askubuntu.com.

Like Studio, Lubuntu ships quassel. We have no intention on the Lubuntu Team to ship hexchat instead at this time.

Seems like Ubuntu desktop has thunderbird as chat/irc client installed by default
but the problem is it does not recognize system-handler by default when clicking irc links

so i filed a new bug wishlist on thunderbird:
