Bug Description
I think that Unity 8 app settings in look weird on desktop, especially when the window is larger.
My suggestion is that at a certain size the menu stays where it is instead of stretching across the screen, so that it would look like in the attached image (made an example of the Terminal app).

This is not a unity8 issue, every app needs to do it for themselves. The UI Toolkit might be able to help here, still.
