Thanks but what do you mean? "The check box style of vibrate related are not unified with others", that dialog has 4 checkboxes and they are all related to vibrations and similar looking... can you give an example of 2 checkboxes looking different?

@Sebastien, sorry not described this clearly, yes, these 4 check boxes of vibrations are with the same style,
my question is why these 4 check boxes did not use the same toggle style as Dialpad tones, Keyboard sound, and Other vibrations used? does that make sense? Thanks.

Oh ok, you mean that the panel mixes checkbox and toggle widgets

That's how it's on the design, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Sound#Phone ... maybe mpt can explain it

Switches and checkboxes are used for different things: switches for noun phrases that can be considered on/off, checkboxes for verb or adjective phrases that are agreed to or not.

Unfortunately, switches and checkboxes currently look very similar. This bug will be fixed when checkboxes are moved to the left of their labels, or when the visual design of switches is changed so that they no longer contain a checkmark.

As I explained above, using checkboxes for some things and switches for other things is a deliberate part of our UI grammar.

The problem with them looking too similar has been fixed, in the design of the toolkit, in both the ways I described: checkboxes will be moved to the left, and switches will no longer contain checkmarks. Implementation of the new checkboxes is in progress and not tracked using a bug report.
