Bug Description
I've written a Sidebar component for use in a adaptive layouts.
The code is available at https:/
It provides a nice animation on sliding in/out, and also has a good default color that looks good on top of Suru themes.
A lot of other apps have started to use it. Would it be possible to get this or a similar component included in the UI toolkit?

Thanks for contributing code.
This seems useful for adaptive layouts, we should review this when we have more time to work on that.
The first thing that needs to happen is for design to define the behavior of apps when switching layouts, and when we know what the behavior should be, we will implement this in the UITK.
It is worth considering whether a Sidebar for changing layouts can be integrated in the current Panel (perhaps not, but having a look won't hurt).
