Unable to set proxy in ubuntu sdk

I use authenticated proxy to access internet.

Environment on which this bug was seen:

Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit desktop installed as a VM on VMware Player 6.0 on Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit desktop.
Qt Creator 2.8.1

What did I expect to happen?

I would be able to set proxy with authentication parameters to access online features in ubuntu SDK like the IDE overview window, etc.

What happened instead?

I did not find any way I could set proxy in ubuntu-sdk which prevented me from viewing the online resources in ubuntu-sdk.
